While we can't tell you to specifically click on the advertisements shown on this website, we can ask that if you are looking to purchase an item, please look to these advertisers first. This site is more or less ad supported and if you wish to see it continue, purchasing from our advertisers is one of the best ways of assuring this.
However, we CAN ask you to stop by our on-line store and stock up on Keller Racing merchandise. This will also help to fund this site. Thank you.
We are in the process of a major upgrade to this website.
If you follow the
and the
buttons at the bottom or
each page, you will be walked through a logical series of
steps for designing and building your bike. Doing it this
way allows us to be more "modular" and makes it easier to add
things in future. Each "major" section (e.g. INTAKE,
COMBUSTION CHAMBER, EXHAUST, ETC) will have an outline
description at the top. Following that will be a group of
formulas pertaining to that specific section. Additionally,
for each formula, we will reference several of the books
listed on the Suggested
Reading page for further study.
While you are doing this, bear in mind that even though we will deal with one component at a time, you need to think of your bike as a "system" with each part affecting the other parts. In other words, when we discuss carbs, you must always remember that if you change a carb you may also need to change the exhaust pipe and/or cam or something of that nature.
This process will eventually lead you to a final set of formulas that will assist you in predicting the performance of your bike. And hopefully, a set of formulas that will tie everything together.
Of course, you can always use the Site Map to jump around to areas of specific interest.
We recommend that you keep a notebook of your entries and the responses for later reference.
We also hope to add an index of performance related magazine articles similar to the TIOC index already on this site. This should assist you in further research in designing your bike.
Last but definitely not least, we are going to add a section on using artificial intelligence (AI) as a performance enhancing tool. Keep tabs on the "Intelligent" Performance page for more info on this topic.
The
button at the
bottom of this page will start the process.
